Chapter 01
The cabinets and layout do the heavy lifting
Most kitchen remodels start with the same question: does the current layout work, or is it fighting you. We design and install custom cabinetry around how the room is actually used, then handle countertop selection and fitting, island additions and open concept renovations where a wall between the kitchen and living space is coming out.
Island additions and open concept work both touch the framing, so we plan them alongside the cabinetry rather than as an afterthought. If a wall is load bearing, that gets priced and explained before demolition starts, not discovered halfway through.

Cost and how long it takes
A mid-range kitchen remodel with TLC typically runs $20,000 to $40,000, and high-end projects with custom cabinetry or a bigger footprint change can go past $50,000. A full kitchen takes about six to eight weeks, with the trades scheduled back to back rather than sitting idle between phases.
You get the phase dates with the written estimate, so you know when the old cabinets come out and roughly when the new sink goes in. Vacating the house is usually not necessary for a kitchen remodel unless the work goes structural, down to the studs.

What is behind the cabinets
A kitchen remodel is rarely just a kitchen remodel. Appliance integration, lighting solutions and the plumbing and electrical work behind the counter all move together, and flooring upgrades usually run through the whole space rather than stopping at the cabinet toe kick.
Because TLC holds these trades in house, moving a gas line for a new range or adding under-cabinet lighting does not mean waiting on an outside plumber or electrician to fit the job into their own schedule.
How the job runs
Every kitchen starts with a free 3D design, so you can see the finished layout, the cabinet run and the island placement before anything is ordered. The written estimate comes back within three days.
You work directly with Cory from the first walkthrough to the final punch list, and the work carries a one year labor warranty. If demolition turns up something behind a wall, old wiring, a leak, framing that was never tied in right, you hear about it the same day with photos before it gets covered back up.
